Do you want to be an Electric Mobility Supplier ?

The Electric Mobility Energy Supplier (EMSP) is an entity holding a licence to operate charging stations and registered to supply electricity for electric mobility, in accordance with legislation in force (see here), whose activity consists in bulk-purchasing and the retail provision of electric energy for the supply of Electric Vehicle Users (UVE).

Procedures followed in order to become an Electric Mobility Supplier

Passo 1

Be a holder of a Charging Point Operator (CPO) license for Electric Mobility;

Passo 2

Request, from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (http://www.dgeg.pt), an Electric Mobility Supplier licence (EMSP);

With the licence, EMSP may commence the supply of electric energy for the electric vehicle user and, to this end, respect the Regulation no. 103/2021. The supplier must guarantee technical, technological and safety compatibility between its IT systems and those of MOBI.E, and the network for electricity distribution.
